It is with sadness we acknowledge the passing of Emeritus Distinguished Professor Richie Poulton. A respected and admired colleague and friend to many, Professor Poulton became Director of the world-renowned Dunedin Study in 2000.

Professor Geoghegan is the third holder of the Chair in Viral Pathogenesis, which was established in 2004 and endowed by Robert and Marjorie Webster. An Otago alumnus, Professor Robert Webster is an international expert in influenza.
