Leaving a Bequest to the University of Otago

From its earliest days, New Zealand's first university has benefited from bequests and legacies, a tradition that continues to this day.

Making a bequest is a powerful way of supporting the University of Otago in perpetuity at a level not possible during your lifetime.

The University of Otago bequest brochure, A Legacy for Excellence, sets out several options for donating through wills.

The brochure includes a Codicil form, which provides a simple way of allowing existing wills to include a legacy for the University.

To obtain a brochure, either download A Legacy for Excellence or contact the Development & Alumni Relations Office.
